About Us
Lokcom Networks is an IOT technology company that offers internet enabled (cloud-based) remote control and access control system for door locks. The door can be unlocked when you are either standing in front of it or if you are anywhere else in the world, using a smartphone, tablet or PC. Lokcom’s door access control system gives you the choice to open a door by using the digital key on your device, or by using a physical key. Lokcom does not sell smart locks, nor does our solution require the installation of a smart lock.
Our Vision
Our vision is to enable remote control for mechanical, electronic or smart locks that is as safe as handing someone a key to your property. We want to revolutionise the way properties are managed, be it offices or holiday rentals, by providing a secure, reliable and convenient access control system.
How does Lokcom Technology work?
Our highly secure door access control system connects any door to the Cloud in a simple, safe and reliable manner. We achieve this through our proprietary technology and cloud-based platform, which enables a mechanical door lock with a key to behave like a smart lock. Therefore, there is no need to install a smart lock or to discard the physical key; either the Lokcom digital key can be used, or the physical key to unlock the door.
Lokcom technology is highly secure because we use a closed M2M network. This means we are not reliant on open and discoverable networks such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or NFC, all of which can be interfered with.
What distinguishes us from our competitors is that our system can allow you to unlock a door from anywhere in the world – you don’t need to be standing in front of it. The Lokcom platform also gives you total control over who is given permission to unlock the door using the Lokcom app that is downloaded to the device. You can even establish a time period for when the door can be unlocked and monitor who is given access to your property through our in-built, constant monitoring system.
Lokcom’s door access control system is currently being used in various sectors including holiday rentals, elderly healthcare, and leisure facilities.
